Theme:
The show will feature works that illustrate various
reflections and contrasts of light in an array
of people, places, and/or objects.
This is our 2nd Annual
Juried Art Exhibit!
This exhibit is about light,
but not just "light" in a literal sense.
It is about the twinkling glimmer in the eyes
of a child. It is a glorious ocean sunset filling
the sky with an array of colors that puts Crayola
to shame. It is about the light we experience
when we give our lives to the one true Light and
break free from the darkness that once held us
captive. Marvelous light.
The show officially opens
Friday night, September 12th with our awards reception
and runs through October 26th. Unlike other exhibits,
you do not have to turn in a
caption and Scripture verse with your entry.

Calendar:
* August 22nd - All entries must
be RECEIVED by the gallery office.
* August 28th - Juror's notification will be mailed
and emailed.
*September 8th - All accepted artwork must be
turned into the gallery office by 5:00 pm. Office
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
*September 10th - Judging of selected works.
*September 12th - 7:30 pm - Opening reception
and presentation of awards.

Eligibility:
- Open to all residents of the
state of Georgia 18 years of age and older.
- Only original fine art accepted:
paintints, photography, mixed media, and graphics.
Due to limited space in the gallery,
no 3-dimensional work will be accepted.
- Works must be ready to hang
on the wall.
- Size limitations for all works
should be no larger than 48" x 48" including
frame.
- All works accepted for the show
must remain in the show until the show ends.
How to enter:
- Each artist may submit up to
three works.
- Entry fee is $15 per artist
payable by cash, check made out to "JFBC"
with Memo "Art Show Entry Fee", or
by credit card. Credit card charges must be
completed and accompanied by on-line registration
at ww.glimpsesofhisglory.org
- Complete the entry form. Entry
forms may be downloaded at
ww.glimpsesofhisglory.org
Submitting Images:
- Email images in JPEG or PDF
format to glimpsesofhisglory@jfbc.org (Images
must be at least 1024X768 and 150 DPI).
- Slides must be submitted in
plastic sleeves and marked with ARTIST'S NAME,
TITLE, 'UP-ARROW', MEDIUM, and SIZE.
- You may mail the entry form
with slides or CD and entry fee to:
