An Artful Mission

A year and a half ago, Jonathan Munson was called upon by Johnson Ferry Baptist Church to start a creative and visual arts ministry within the congregation.

Using the creative and visual arts to make visible the glory and character of the invisible God.

We want our works of art not only to convey artistic excellence, but to provoke God-ward thought. This is all part of using "ever-changing methodologies to communicate an unchanging message."

Our Glimpses of His Glory Gallery is located on the third floor of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church overlooking the beautiful Atrium area.

You will find various creative styles and talents represented by the artists at every exhibit. Everything from oils and acrylics, to mixed media figurative sculpture, to poetry and song.

The Glimpses of His Glory Gallery is located in Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, Ga.

From I-75
exit Delk Road going east. Travel straight ahead approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left at Terrell Mill Road. Terrell Mill Road will become Lower Roswell Road. At the major intersection of Lower Roswell Road and Johnson Ferry Road, turn left. The church will be approximately .5 miles on your left.

From I-285
exit Riverside Drive (located between GA 400 and I-75 going north.) At the major intersection of Riverside Drive and Johnson Ferry Road, turn left. The church will approximately be 2 miles on your left.

From GA 400
exit Sandy Spring/Abernathy going west. At the major intersection of Abernathy Road and Johnson Ferry Road, turn right. The church will be approximately 3 miles on your left.

From Roswell Square
take Hwy 120 going west. At the major intersection of Hwy 120 and Johnson Ferry Road, turn left. The church will be approximately 1 mile on your right.
